I'm a 37-years young African-American, strong minded and single woman. Very independent with no children, so I'm having the best that life has to offer. Even though my age is older than what my physical book cover displays. I am still young enough to still enjoy the life to the fullest, and old enough to handle the issues of being and doing the grown-up!!! I'm very versatile. I can do the club scene or I can sit in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine and a good book to read with my dog on my lap. Or work on my cross-stitching and writing in my journal of my poetry and erotic stories that I write. My ideal person is strong and secure within himself, and not afraid to be in tune with his emotions, yet flexible and understanding enough to be able to deal with and understand a strong, black and independent princess.

I would like to finish school and get my accounting business off the ground. Then start a non-profit organization that works with providing services for people who are born with Sickle Cell Disease and help get this disease the recognition that it needs in order to combat the issues regarding racism when it comes to the patients and medical treatment that is lacking for them due to the color of their skin.

It varies widely. I can either sit on the deck by candle torches sipping on a glass of wine watching my nephew & his friends play. Or during football season I can go to the sports bar drinking beer while watching the football game. Then turn around and get home by the fireplace and work on my poetry or doing some homework when school is in session.

I mostly look for in a man that one thing, that one odd spark that they might have that sets them apart from what the NORM is in society. And not trying so hard as to over-compensate for something that they feel lacking. And being able to be comfortable in their own skin no matter what the flaws are...as long as they are not unhealthy or deadly.
