I hate using clich?s but let's face it; a lot of them are true. In life, there are no guarantees. You have to make the best of every opportunity because it may never come around again. These are perfect examples of clich?s that hold valuable meaning.

For instance, anyone who follows pro football probably thought the Chargers were on their way to winning their first Super Bowl. But a funny thing happened on their scheduled flight to Miami...namely the Patriots. The Chargers had the best record in the NFL, the league MVP, 9 Pro Bowl players on their roster and the list goes on and on. The Patriots had an injury ridden defense, no running game, and (besides Brady) an offense full of no-names. However, all the stats on paper don't mean a damn thing until it's proven out on the field.

These same values hold true in the dating game as well as life. Don't do less with more, do more with less. If you have any talent, ability, or opportunity, make the most of it. Don't let these things pass you by and then live with regret later. Don't be a paper champion; be a champion in the actual game. If you have that person on your bootycall list that you've been waiting to hear from, make the first move and contact them first. Otherwise, you may be the one sitting at home watching the game alone, while someone else is walking off the field with the trophy.
