Men let me tell you about my garden. My garden has a fence. My fence is a simple fence nothing fancy, but it serves its purpose. In the back is a six foot privacy fence. Next to it is a ladder so I can look over the fence behind me from time to time. To see where I’ve been and the garden of the past. The fence is a privacy fence so that when I’m working in the garden I can not see behind me. In the front is a four foot fence with spaced pickets. Short enough for you to look over and spaced so you can see thru. On the sides there is no fence. They were recently removed in case you wanted to start a garden beside me to share the sunshine. Down the street my mom has a garden as well. Its far because times have changed and I need my own techniques but close enough to peek and get pointers because some things just don’t change. My dad stops by sometimes to give me pointers but I’m reminded that he's just like you, a man (smile). I listen and digest because he's just like you, a man (smile) Sometimes it rains on my garden. I’m sad because its hindering me from working in my garden but happy cause its helping my garden. Over the years men have come in to help me but their thumbs are not as green as I would like them to be, so I work alone.
