My name is Patrick and it is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. Why am I on here? Why am I single? For the same reason everyone else is; including you. Not 100% content with my dating status.

What we get here though, is a virtual sense of affection and love. There is nothing actual about this. You know! we now live in a microwave society but want the taste of a conventional, home cook meal. All the shortcuts taken to get the full blow of what it took to walk the long way home.

My difference is that I'm not detached from my actual world. This virtual, emotionless, lack of human touch and feel only awakens the senses for a short time; that time you are logged on. Once you log off, you still lay in bed alone. The virtual is over and now the actual takes over. What is happening to us? We've even made excuses to ourselves to why we now prefer this method to meet people but never MEET them. Aren't you afraid that you will become immune to the real feel of that true human connection. Honestly, I miss kissing, touching, caressing, snuggling close and oh yes, making love. That can never be done while we walk further and further away from true interrelation.

Honesty is the only thing necessary. Face it, if you have honesty, all you need to do is ask the right questions.

"All men are dogs" is old and tired. "Gold diggers" grow old and wrinkled like the rest of us and with playing that card the only thing she'll have in the end is a mine full of fool's gold. What happened to good old fashion dating? Meeting for coffee or drinks or ice cream. The excitement of it was enchanting. Having a reason to buy new underwear...LOL...or new perfume or cologne. See now, right this minute you're remembering one of those times. You're thinking of a moment when you woke up and realized you were in love with that person you met at that book store or while on a grocery run. These things do not happen by sitting behind a computer screen pecking away at a keyboard. It only will and can happen by losing the fear of being hurt and reattaching human to human emotionally charged contact.

I've said this to say: if you are afraid of stepping out from behind the computer screen, no need to even answer my messages or flirts or even send me any. I don't want to wait 6 months to meet you so you can know me better. What if I lie to you for 6 months? Then what do you do?

Now 6 months later you finally meet me and in 3 weeks you discover I wasn't who I said I was. All could have been avoided if you had made a more mature decision. We all know this is not how God intended for us to interact; if so he would have created Adam out of cyberspace particles(lol). As a tip to you ladies: The more time you give him, the easier it is for him to get his lies together. Shock him and tell him to meet you today. Those of them who have another life will probably come up with some excuse. I implore you to use your mind. That is the greatest weapon you possess. Not your body (even though I love looking...lol)

What are you afraid of? Fear causes us to slowly deteriorate. Listen! Remember 9-11 and the images of people trapped in the building above the impact? Hanging from the windows begging to be rescued from the FEAR of being burned alive and dying? What did they do out of FEAR of dying? They jumped to there deaths. Fear drove them to the very place they tried to avoid. Don't be afraid of the possiblity of YOU and I but fear the impossibility. Open yourself to the black relationship before we die off like Africa's Black Rhinos.
