I like to laugh and I smile real easy, go to the beach, and go out with friends. Just checking this out to see who is out there. I’m single and been in the area since fall 2005. Extremely sensitive to the needs of poor people and homeless, outgoing and love to unwind with friends and look at movies. When I moved here because of work (post-doc) I didn’t like Atlanta, but now so far I love it and have met some really interesting people. Thought I might as well check this out to see if I could meet like minded people. I’m laid back, but I have been known to get a little wild on the dance floor occasionally (I am a Chicago stepper). I’m highly motivated and focused on bettering my life as well as those around me. If anybody is into horseback riding and driving to the beach (3-4 hours) around here please get back to me. Other then that I can’t wait to see what this site has to offer.

I wake up every day, feeling an over abundance of gratitude for all the amazing blessings in my life.
1. I love what I do which leads me to work most of the time.
2. I want a relationship with a strong woman who has a relationship with God. That’s what got me through the rough times.
3. Before her passing my mom was my best friend.
4. I want to own a guitar even though if I don’t know how to play one (I see lesson in my future).
5. I am blessed with strong, healthy relationships with all my family members.
6. I am really bad at keeping in touch with friends I care about but it doesn't reflect how much I care about them.
7. I work out but I am no body builder .
8. MJ, Luther, Phyllis Hyman, Walter Jackson, Sade, and Jimi Hendrix will always rock.
9. I briefly pursued a career in singing and still practice often although more in the shower these days.
10. I love fishing and camping but haven't been in years. Would also love to get more into indoor rock climbing (went once, loved it). Same about getting certified in scuba diving and my pilot license.
